You were born to comfort me.
A queen of high birth,
help me that I shall not be lost.”
(13th Century)
“Hail Mary, branch of Jesse,
From you came the Noble One,
Jesus, your Child, whose sweet Name
Took away from us all our sins.”
(late 13th, early 14th Century)
“I greet you, rose garden of heaven,
The chosen, the pure, the tender one.
You noble, sweet rose blossom,
Entreat God for me through your goodness.”
(14th Century)
Since I revere Mary as the reincarnated Goddess Isis, I would like to work with these so they reflect Her as both the Mother Goddess and the Mother of God. Or use them to inspire me. These alternate versions were usually drawn from a psalm and then connected so they reflected a Hail Mary. It would be beautiful to do that throughout sacred texts of all kinds, wouldn't it?
I'm going to change my layout before I get offline to get some things done.
