Without knowing,
it is the anniversary.
I breathe, I find You
when I breathe.
It is May,
a time of Life-affirming.
The Life-Giver awakens
all that was asleep.
Everything green.
The birds sing.
The seeds are planted.
Without knowing
what You had done,
forgetting it was created,
You healed...
holding the door open
to the monastery within.
It was there all along,
where I belong.
I, a monastery of my heart,
entered not knowing.
How patiently You wait,
when we miss the miracle.
When I was ready I saw it all.
I am the heart.
I am the monastery.
All I do
points to the moon.
